Subscribed mods on steam not downloading

After Steam downloads the mods, go into the Steam Workshop mods folder and then copy all of the folders At this point go back to Steam and un-subscribe from the mods. Or are those platforms not seeing this issue?

A Fix For Steam Workshop Mods Appearing To Not Install I had subscribed to a good 40+ mods in the workshop but whenever I would start installing the mods it was still downloading them, I just had no way of knowing.
