Unlike cheat Engine those mods are done to the game files themselves and are permanent, at least while the mod folder is in the Dragon age directory. (Backup your files before using it!) The tools have been allowing modders to make mods since early December. To be able to use DAI mods made with the tools you need this mod manager.
