Steam ark mods not downloading

7 Oct 2017 To open the Workshop in the web browser and not use Steam directly the server will automatically download and install any necessary mods.

In this article, we'll be going over a few reasons why ARK mods may not be Issue: Some mods may not load properly on pre-existing sets of saved data, and  When I try to join the ARK server I play on, it gets stuck downloading the mods. Tried setting steam to download while in game, tried deleting mod files, reinstalled the game. I can join other servers without mods fine. Client and server are both updated. All discussions on this topic are pretty old and don't have any solutions. Any ideas?

Steam is having some network issues this weekend. Big Steam Workshop mods are having issues downloading/updating (Annunaki Genesis for example) The temporary workaround is: Set Auto Managed Mods from Advanced Launch Params and Save & Restart Check Skip Mods and Skip ARK Updating in control
